signs …
telltales
of a
spiritual awakening
Autor unknown
– A tendency to
think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.
– An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
– A loss of interest in judging people.
– A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.
– A loss of interest in conflict.
– A loss of ability to worry.
– Frequent and overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
– Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
– Frequent attacks of smiling.
– An increased tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
– An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the
uncontrollable urge to extend.

Sailing Lake Calhoun
is not a closed community;
it is a community shared with strangers,
a community shared with all,
as we share the love of sailing with those
who appear on the dock who are open and willing to trust.
This is an open and growing community.
This also has become a community of servants,
made up of sailors who have found the fullness of life
in the only place it can be found,
in servanthood.
This is what life is meant to be.
Indeed
we have found fullness of life,
and I am so grateful.
Thank you all so very much,
Bill.
Sitting in a circle
Why sit in a
circle?
Because it’s cold outside – yah.
Because we can’t sail – yah.
But it’s for discovery.
Sharing in a
circle.
we can discover
one another
and maybe we can even discover ourselves.
What we really are is hidden;
it is hidden in these wonderful bodies of ours.
We are
spirits,
embodied spirits,
and we can choose to express them
through words and gestures
or keep them hidden.
Sitting in a
circle
we can share our spirits.
And
our spirits are wonderful,
maybe more wonderful than we know.
Perhaps,
as in all of nature,
we may see the divine in each other,
and if in each other
maybe also in ourselves.
Whats
the purpose?
Only
to experience each other,
only
to experience life,
to enjoy each other,
to appreciate each other,
and maybe appreciate ourselves
and find the divine within.
Let’s sit in a circle,
tell our stories,
listen, relate,
and be filled with awe.
Hope
to see you in the circle,
Bill

The Precious Present
Eckhart Tolle
Niemand
zu sein
von Eckhart Tolle
Lehrer
zu sein
ist zwar eine meiner Funktionen,
aber es ist nicht meine Identität.
Wenn
ich alleine bin,
ist es meine tiefste Freude,
niemand zu sein.
von
Eckhart Tolle
Dein innerstes Verständnis von dir selbst, was du bist,
***
Stille ist Deine wahre Natur.
Was
ist Stille?
Der
innere Raum von Bewusstsein,
in dem diese Worte wahrgenommen
und zu Gedanken werden.
Ohne
dieses Bewusstsein
würde es Wahrnehmung,
keine Gedanken,
keine Welt geben.
Du
bist dieses Bewusstsein
in Gestalt deiner Person.
***
Das
äußere Geräusch
entspricht dem inneren Geräusch des Denkens.
Die
äußere Stille
entspricht der inneren Stille.
Wann
immer Stille um dich herum ist,
höre sie.
Das
bedeutet,
Du bemerkst sie.
Richte
deine Aufmerksamkeit auf diese Stille.
Die
Wahrnehmung der Stille
lässt die Stille in dir erwachen,
weil du nur durch Stille
Schweigen wahrnehmen kannst.
In
dem Augenblick,
wenn Du die Stille um dich bemerkst,
hörst du auf zu denken.
Du
nimmst wahr,
aber du denkst nicht.
***
Du
bist präsent.
Du
bist
aus einer kollektiven
menschlichen Konditionierung
von Tausenden von Jahren ausgestiegen.
***
Schaue
einen Baum, eine Blume, eine Pflanze.
Richte
deine ganze Aufmerksamkeit darauf.
Wie
still sind sie,
wie tief verwurzelt mit dem Sein.
Erlaube
der Natur,
die Stille zu lehren.
***
Wenn
du einen Baum anschaust
und seine Stille wahrnimmst,
wirst du selbst still.
Du
verbindest dich mit ihm
auf einer sehr tiefen Ebene.
Du
fühlst diese Einheit mit
was immer du in und durch Stille wahrnimmst.
Diese
Einheit deines Selbst
formlose Dimension
von reinem Bewusstsein
kommt aus deinem Innern
und ersetzt die Identifikation mit Form.
***
Wirkliche
Intelligenz
arbeitet schweigend.
Stille
ist
wo Kreativität ihre Quelle hat,
Lösungen zu Problemen gefunden werden.
***
Ist
Stille nur
die Abwesenheit von Geräusch und Inhalt?
Nein,
sie ist Intelligenz selbst.
Ihr
liegt das Bewusstsein zugrunde,
aus dem jede Form geboren wird.
Und
wie kann das von dir getrennt sein?
Die Form,
von der du denkst,
dass du sie bist,
kommt aus diesem und wird davon getragen.
Es
ist die Essenz
aller Galaxien und Grashalmen,
von allen Blumen, Bäumen, Vögel
und all den anderen Formen.
***
Stille
***
Wenn
du einen Baum
oder ein menschliches Wesen
in Stille anschaust,
wer schaut dann wirklich?
Da
ist etwas,
das tiefer ist als eine Person.
Bewusstsein
schaut auf diese Schöpfung.
In
der Bibel steht,
dass Gott die Welt erschuf und sah,
dass sie gut war.
Das
ist es was du siehst
wenn du aus der Stille heraus schaust –
ohne Gedanken.
***
Brauchst
du mehr Wissen?
Brauchen wir mehr Information,
um die Welt zu retten.
Oder
schnellere Computer,
mehr wissenschaftliche
oder intellektuelle Analysen?
Brauchen
wir nicht
am nötigsten Weisheit
in dieser Zeit?
Aber
was ist Weisheit
und wo kann man sie finden?
Weisheit
kommt aus der Fähigkeit,
still zu sein.
Schaue
einfach und horche.
Das
ist nichts mehr,
was wir brauchen.
Still
sein,
schauen und lauschen
aktiviert die nicht-konzeptuelle Intelligenz in dir.
Lass
die Stille deine Worte und Aktionen lenken.

Tatsachen

From Carl Rogers’ book “A Way of Being”
“An empathic way of being with another person has several facets. It
means entering the private perceptual world of the other and becoming
thoroughly at home in it. It involves being sensitive, moment to moment, to
the changing felt meanings which flow in this other person, to the fear or
rage or tenderness or confusion or whatever he or she is experiencing. It
means temporarily living in the other’s life, moving about in it delicately
without making judgments; it means sensing meanings of which he or she is
scarcely aware, but not trying to uncover totally unconscious feelings,
since this would be too threatening. It includes communicating your sensings
of the persons world as you look with fresh and unfrightened eyes at
elements of which he or she is fearful. It means frequently checking with
the person as to the accuracy of your sensings, and being guided by the
responses you receive. You are a confident companion to the person in his or
her inner world. By pointing to the possible meanings in the flow of another
person’s experiencing, you help the other to focus on this useful type of
referent, to experience the meanings more fully, and to move forward in the
experiencing.”
To be with another in this way means that for the time being, you lay
aside your own views and values in order to enter another’s world without
prejudice. in some sens it means that you lay aside your self; this can only
be done by persons who are secure enough in themselves that they know they
will not get lost in what may turn out to be the strange or bizarre world of
the other, and that they can comfortably return to their own world when they
wish.”

Meine Lehrer
